Następnie prezentujemy dziennik z mobilności prowadzony przez uczestniczki mobilności 📖, w którym dzielą się swoimi wrażeniami oraz opisują najważniejsze wydarzenia z wyjazdu.

Sunday: We started the trip by arriving at the airport. We registered the suitcases and went to look around the shops at the airport. We checked in to the plane and then started the flight. The flight was two hours long (17:10–19:30). We landed in Palermo, found our bags and went by bus to Balestrate. The day was tiring, but it went by pretty quickly.

Monday: On Monday morning we got ready and ate breakfast together. After that we went by bus to Palermo with the school from Balestrate. Firstly, we all went to St. Mary’s Square. It was really educational in terms of history, but after that we had to separate from the school and went by ourselves to look around Palermo. We saw a lot of interesting things like the Palermo Cathedral. We visited it inside and we went up to the Cathedral roof. There were the most beautiful views up there and we took a lot of nice photos together. Then we saw the Teatro Massimo. This theatre had an interesting legend about a nun who pushed people on the first step. We were in Palermo almost all day and it was great. We saw a lot of new, different things and visited new places. Even though we were tired after, it was still a pleasure to be there.

Tuesday: We woke up at 7:30 a.m. and had breakfast. On this day we went to school. The pupils from this school welcomed us outside the school. Then we met the headteacher in the library, where he told us about their school. The lessons started at 9:30 a.m. First, we had ceramics. We made bowls with different decorations. After that we had English and then we had a break. We came back to the library and we gave our Polish sweets to the teachers and students. They gave us some Sicilian specialties to try. After the break we went for our last lesson, which was French. When we finished all the classes, we went for lunch. We ate delicious pasta and then we walked on the beach. When we came back, we met with our friends from the Italian school. We went for ice cream together. At 7:30 p.m. we came back to the hotel and we were talking with girls from Italy. When they went to their houses, we went to sleep. It was a really nice day.

Wednesday: After breakfast, we went to school. After the music lesson, we showed our presentation that we had prepared in Poland. At the end, we had math. In Italian schools, there are only two breaks, at 10:00 and 12:00, and lessons last one hour.

At 2:00 p.m., we went to Aunt Marta’s for lunch. After lunch, we went with our Italian friends to see the altars because it was Saint Joseph’s Day in Italy.

At the end of the day, we met the teachers and students for dinner.

Thursday: The day started with a quick breakfast and a drive to our destination. We went to Tempio di Segesta and saw very old monuments and many beautiful landscapes. We “climbed” a mountain and ate our snacks in the seating area in the old amphitheater. We took many photos there!

Then we got on a bus and drove to another location. This time, it was a village on a mountain.

When we arrived, our geography teacher wanted to show us the beautiful views, so we went to look for a place where we could see them. When we found it, we took some photos and went to look for a place to eat lunch. The lunch was yummy!

After lunch, we got on a bus and drove to the salt pans. We got a little lost, but we quickly found the right way. After that, we drove back to our hotel and rested in our rooms. Then we left for dinner and had an amazing time! The day finished with packing our suitcases and hanging out in our room till late.

Friday: The last day flew by. We woke up early to finish packing. We ate breakfast and said our final goodbyes to our teachers and one of the mothers. We arrived at the airport around 9:30 AM and waited for our flight. The plane ride was uneventful. After landing, we had to quickly walk to the train station to catch our train. After two transfers, we arrived in Łodygowice.
